I stopped in here with a group of 4 on Saturday for brunch, our group had a reservation and was seated promptly. The server came to our table not to long after we were seated and took our drink orders. We ordered beers, coffees and Bloody Marys ,which were the star of the show. As for food we ordered the chicken Caesar sandwhich, quiche, chicken liver pate, gigante beans, pancakes and chips with aioli. The star of the show was the chicken liver pate, it had a great rich savory flavor with a hint of sweetness and was served on a nice soft piece of sourdough. The Scottie Pippen of the food order had to be the pancakes, they were savory and sweet with a hint of lemon. The only weak link of the bunch was the under seasoned gignate beans, which had an off day. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a brunch spot in WB or Greenpoint.
I really enjoyed this place a lot. The screw driver with tangerine juice was awesome and strong. The waiter was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The country pate looked kind of like spam but tasted magical. The chips (French fries) and aioli was outstanding reminded me of the ones at 4 Charles or Au Cheval. The Shakshuka egg and tomatoes was fire too. The sausage biscuit in the gravy was really good. The star of the show however was the pancakes they were perfect. Crispy edges but fluffy and the perfect amount of syrup. The cutlet that was with the Cesar salad was awesome too. I definitely would return.
Finally got here for one of their famous brunches and completely lived up to the hype. The food was outstanding, the sausage gravy and biscuits was pepper, creamy delicious with every bite. Honestly every plate that arrived on every table looked magazine quality. The service and atmosphere were perfect for a group or table for two. Looking forward to coming back again and again
